Beautiful second chance love story!

I LOVED this story! Zach and Violet's journey is heartfelt and beautiful! I loved getting to know them, their past, their present, their future. I felt their pain, their worries, their heartache, their hope.
"She tasted like wine and tears and Violet, like second chances and old feelings and new feelings and sad endings and hopeful beginnings."
Katy Regnery has written a story with so much passion and intensity that I was nervous, anxious, and anticipating what was going to happen next. I was drawn to Z & Vile from the start and didn't want their story to end.
Mistakes. Regret. Pain. Sorrow. Compassion. Trust. Hope. Love. Fate. This book is filled with it all. Never judge a book by its cover. Say what you feel. Mean what you say. Z and Vile's feelings bleed through the pages.
A beautiful second chance romance that kept my heart on edge and left a smile on my face.

Second Chances!

This is a really cute book about falling in love, following your heart and second chances.
Zach Aubrey and Violet Smith were best friends at Yale and they were inseparable. Violet wrote poetry in Zach's dorm room while he wrote music. She practically spent every night there and one night, they gave into temptation and Zach took Violets virginity. After she declares her love for him, he walks out on her leaving her heart broken.
Years later Zach and Violet end up at the same Vacation home and the hurt and betrayal that she felt resurfaces.
Zach has always been in love with Violet but, was too afraid to tell her because as a child, he was never shown love and he didn't know if he was the right one for her.
Violet has always been in love with Zach and the only way to get over the hurt is to confront him and hold him accountable for his actions. One she finds out the reason why he did what he did, her walls slowly start to come down but Zach is about to do something that will likely hurt her all over again.
This is a really good love story and I would recommend this book!

Katy Regnery simply KNOWS love!!!

Everything I read by Ms Regnery Carrie's a very elemental truth - -she utterly comprehensive every facet of love and excels at describing it, injecting its every nuance into your very bloodstream, and giving you every mountainous high, gully-plunging low, and every spectrum in between. The way she depicts the agony that wretches from deep within Zach, is bone-jarringly deep and soulful. The intense realization that reverberates within and from Zach of the tremendous mistake he made with his beautiful Violet is so heart stabbing. And his willingness to put their love and future on the line as he does is beyond remarkable. You've zoomed me to paradise and back home once again, Katy Regney!!
